Royal Allnighter Voted Great Success

On the 28th March 2026, Northern Soul history was made with the first Royal Allnighter held in and around Buckingham Palace in London.

  Organised by the Royal Household, with the assistance of Goldsoul promoter Kev Roberts, the event was attended by their Royal Highnesses King Charles and Queen Camilla, both Northern Soul enthusiasts and other members of the Royal Family.  Over 600 people attended the event from all over the country. The event was by invitation only because of security concerns but Soulful records own Rhiannon was among those invited and managed to get a few pictures. All the proceeds were donated to various charities with royal sponsors. 

 King Charles took his turn on the decks playing a selection of his favourite tracks.            

 Speaking to reporters during the event, Queen Camilla said she hoped it would become a regular event and that attendance would be made available to   more people.

 Both King Charles and Queen Camilla attended Northern Soul events in their younger days with King Charles regularly sneaking out of Balmoral to   attend events locally, strictly incognito of course

  Sky TV cameras captured the event which .will be broadcast at Christmas 2026 after the Kings Christmas message in which, it is rumoured, that in   these troubled times he will urge us to 'Keep The Faith'
